A Level 2 charger is one of the largest continuous loads most houses will ever add. The install itself is not complicated — whether your existing service can carry it is the real question, and it is the one that gets skipped.
We install Tesla Wall Connectors, hardwired Level 2 units from any manufacturer, and NEMA 14-50 receptacles. Every job starts with a load calculation against your existing service, and every job is permitted and inspected. Where the service won't carry the load, we can upgrade it under the same C-10 license rather than handing you off.
- Load Calculation First: We size the circuit against your actual service before quoting the install.
- Any Manufacturer: Tesla Wall Connector, hardwired Level 2 units, and NEMA 14-50 receptacles.
- Service Upgrades In-House: If your panel can't carry the load, the upgrade is performed under the same C-10 license.
- Permitted And Inspected: We pull the permit and schedule the inspection. Clean conduit routing, not a cord through a wall.

Common Questions
Will my existing panel handle a charger?
A: Often yes, sometimes only with load management, and sometimes not without a service upgrade. It depends on your service size and what else the house is running. The load calculation tells us before anything is ordered or installed.
Hardwired or plug-in?
A: Hardwiring generally allows higher continuous amperage and is the better long-term install. A NEMA 14-50 receptacle is more flexible if you expect to move the unit or change vehicles. We will tell you which makes sense for your service and your garage.
Does an EV charger really need a permit?
A: Yes. It is a new dedicated circuit, and in many cases a panel modification. Unpermitted work becomes a disclosure item when you sell the house and a problem if you ever need to file an insurance claim involving the circuit.
