A kitchen concentrates more trades into less square footage than any other room. Structure, gas, water, drainage, ventilation, and a great deal of power all have to be resolved before the cabinets arrive — and cabinets are ordered months ahead and don't move once they're built.
Steve Turcotte self-performs the electrical scope under our own C-10 license: panel and service upgrades, dedicated circuits for professional appliance suites, undercabinet and architectural lighting, and Lutron controls. Framing, structural modifications, and finish carpentry are handled by our field crew.
Cabinetry, stone fabrication, plumbing, and flooring are performed by licensed subcontractors and fabricators, each responsible for their own scope and their own field measurements. We sequence their work, hold the schedule against appliance and cabinet lead times, and pull the permits. Your proposal states which trades are in our scope and which are not.

Can you handle the electrical for pro-style appliances?
A: Yes, and we perform it ourselves. As a dual-licensed C-10 electrical contractor, we run the load calculations and install the panel upgrades and dedicated circuits that Sub-Zero, Wolf, Miele and similar appliance suites require, in-house rather than through an outside electrical sub.
Who is responsible for cabinet and stone measurements?
A: The fabricator and cabinet shop take and own their own field measurements, which is standard and protects you on warranty. Our job is to have the walls, floors, and rough-in true and finished to the point where those measurements can be taken accurately and on schedule. Your contract names who is doing what.
How long does a kitchen renovation take?
A: Scope drives it, but the honest constraint on most kitchens is lead time, not labor. Custom cabinetry and appliances are frequently the long pole. We build the schedule backward from those dates and tell you at the start when your selections have to be locked.
